Herbed Salts

Looking for a great way to preserve herbs from your garden? Have an abundance of rosemary and not sure what to do with it? Try making your own seasoned salts for cooking throughout the winter season! It's not as hard as you think!

Ingredients

1/3 cup Coarse Sea Salt

1/2 cup (or so) Fresh Herb(s) of Choice (Rosemary, Parsley, Chive, etc.) Coarsely Chopped

3 Garlic Cloves, Peeled and Coarsely Chopped

Directions

1. Pre-heat oven to 250F. Line a baking sheet with side with parchment paper.

2. Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until desired size is reached.

3. Pour onto the lined baking sheet and cook at herbs are completely dried out (~20-30min).

4. Remove from oven and let cool, transfer to air tight container & use liberally on all your favorite foods!

Let me know what your favorite herb combinations are in the comments! I love Rosemary Garlic Salt, Parsley Garlic Salt, and Chive Parsley Garlic Salt!!
